I like the description of found in ‘The Sacred Annointing’. I also like this quote – I think from Andrew Bonar – “It is one thing to bring truth from the Bible, and another to bring it from God himself through the Bible.”
It all reminds me of Peter’s prayer for himself and others from Act 4:29. “Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness.”
I am praying that for the pastors of the two churches I am associated with. I pray it for myself and my partner as we go into the jails on Tuesday night. I will add you to the mix. I believe it is much needed.
