This reminds me of a piece I wrote called ‘One Thing is Needed’. In Luke’s account of a meal at the house of Mary, Martha and Lazarus; Martha is distracted by her duties for Jesus, Lazarus is content sitting in the vicinity of Jesus but Mary presses through all the way to Jesus. We need more people pressing through today.
