Just a quick post to say that there will not be any OT study or reflections for the next three weeks. Each week’s study and reflections are tied to my church’s Sunday School class, and we are taking a few weeks off. We will jump into Joshua in September.

This Week
Hope you had a wonderful Resurrection Sunday celebrating our risen Savior!
This week we are going back to our journey through the Bible, focusing on Exodus 14-20.
Also resuming this week after a long break is the Prayer Quote of the Week which for the next few months will come from J. C. Ryle’s little booklet A Call to Prayer.
Finally, our church is having a missions focus during April and May, and so there will be a missions quote each Thursday.
Hope you have a great week loving God and people in response to His love for us!
And I’m Back…
Tried to start my computer last Friday, and it wouldn’t boot. Finally got my new computer yesterday – along with all my files from the other computer. Amazing how much of my life is tied to the computer and my files….
Anyways, I’m back.
Annual August Blog Break

Blog Break
Forgot to post this Friday. I am now on my annual August break from blogging. Hope to see you again at the end of the month!

Passion Passages
The Lord’s Passion For Us
For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die—but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
– Romans 5:6-8 (ESV)
Passion Passages
Our Compassion for People
You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
– Mark 12:31
